Basic Business Lines

Basic Business Lines, often called “Plain Old Telephone Service,” offer a reliable, economical solution to your business’s individualized calling needs. Connect directly into a phone or a pre-existing phone system, and choose from a full line of features including Caller ID, Call Waiting and Call Transfer.

Market Expansion Lines (MEL) / Remote Call Forwarding (RCF)

With a MEL or RCF, calls are forwarded to another number, and can be forwarded within to local area or outside. Local users pay their standard rates, and your charges are assessed on a per-call basis. Useful for achieving a local presence in new markets, or serving customers in many areas without the overhead of a physical location.

T-1

A T-1 is a fiberoptic or copper line that can carry 24 digitized channels, for voice or data, at speeds that comfortably meet the needs of most businesses.

PRI

Primary Rate Interface is the standard office application for T-1s. Twenty-three channels are available for voice, with one channel available for high-speed data.

Two-Way Digital

An economical, reliable solution that can be configured for inbound dialing, outbound dialing, or a combination of both.

Integrated, Fixed or Dynamic

Voice, Long Distance and Data services integrated together in one system allow you the greatest flexibility and convenience. If your company uses a consistent level of phone and data services, a fixed T-1 offers constant service levels for both. If your needs vary by the week, day or even hour, a dynamic T-1 adjusts voice and data levels as you use them.

1.5 Megs, 3 Megs, 4.5 Megs

If your business depends on e-commerce, online data storage, CRM applications, corporate intranets/extranets or other demanding applications, you might need more than a single T-1. Bonding T-1 lines together at the outset of the project allows you to double or even triple the processing power of a standard T-1 line’s 1.5mbps.

VOIP

A VOIP T-1 phone connection uses a high bandwidth, dedicated line solution for voice calls. VOIP T-1 connections allow businesses to have multiple phone lines using software for audio/call transfers. With high speed T-1 access, your customers will not know the difference—your VOIP system will sound just like a “regular” phone system. [ more info ]

Hosted VOIP

Hosted Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) offers convenient, feature-rich systems with the flexibility and affordability of off-site hosting. Best suited for small- and midsize businesses that need adaptability for a fluctuating workforce or seasonal peaks. Receive round-the-clock monitoring and troubleshooting, and keep overhead low by only paying for the technology you’re using. [ more info ]

Point to Point T-1

Point to Point T1s are typically utilized by organizations operating out of multiple office locations that require a secure, flexible and cost effective way for employees to communicate and share information across a central computer network.

SIP

Use your pre-existing phone system but tie into a more powerful, compressed network that can double your calling capability and provide for DID (Direct Inward Dial) as well as data, fax and voice conferencing needs.

SIP to DID

Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is the internet standard for real time voice and video communication, and Direct Inward Dialing (DID) allows a company to assign a personal number to each employee, without requiring a separate phone line for each. Telephone traffic is manageable and affordable.

Virtual DID

Stay close to your customers and business partners, by having a local phone number in their location. Forward and receive the calls at any location you want. Your callers pay their local rates.

Long Distance (Switched or Dedicated)

Switched Long Distance is the traditional access method, connecting directly to the local phone company. With Switched service, your local telephone company provides copper lines that carry local, long distance and toll-free (800) calling. All residential and many business services are switched services, carried on the public network.

Dedicated Long Distance provides a higher quality transmission than Switched Long Distance, at a more affordable cost for a larger customer with moderate to high calling volume. Dedicated Service allows you to connect directly to the long distance company network of your choice. Long distance calls are then routed directly to the long distance carrier, bypassing the local phone company’s central office. Monthly access charges are billed for the dedicated connection, but the long distance per-minute rates are typically greatly reduced.
